News: Hydro building competes for prestigious award

Winnipeg Free Press July 09/09 Manitoba Hydro Place has been named the best tall building in the Americas for 2009 by the prestigious Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. It is now in the running with buildings in Beijing, London and Doha for the rights to be called 2009's best tall building in the world at an event in Chicago in October.

CTV Winnipeg July 9/09 It could soon earn the distinction of best tall building in the world for 2009, and Manitoba Hydro Place is not even fully operational.
